Protection against Federal overreach

Answer: Your elected Sheriff represents the highest law enforcement Office within their jurisdiction. That is why it is critical for citizens to elect the right person. Sheriffs are elected by the citizens of their county, and are accountable directly to the constitution of their state, the United States Constitution, statutes, and the citizens of their county.
As your Sheriff I would defend the Colorado Constitution and our state laws against Federal overreach!
The Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution grants the states powers that are not granted to the federal government. This amendment limits the federal government to the powers expressly mentioned in the Constitution, and gives the states the freedom and power to govern in ALL matters.
There have been instances where weak leadership has allowed federal overreach to dictate to local authorities, many times with tragic results, and to the detriment of our citizens. That is NOT how I operate. I am prepared to protect you and to defend your rights!
If you want a strong Sheriff who is the only candidate with COMMAND experience, proven LEADERSHIP, and reliable SUCCESS managing law enforcement departments, then I’m your candidate!
